The Pro's *really* seem to love them ;-)
Anybody can identify the rear wheel? Did he puncture?

Wese had Lightweight front and rear. Zabel rode Lightweights at the AGR just as well as a few others (I noticed Johan Coenen on Lightweights there as well).

I was there but had no camera...

ooopsss....I was a few seconds to fast :)

Congratulations Johan!!! Great to have a professional rider here in this forum!!!! I saw you on Sunday and was really impressed (I´m sure you didn´t notice me  )

Let us know: What do the pros really love about those wheels? Is it only weight? And is it true that you all have to buy them by yourself?

Yes, that's right A bought them by myself. But yesterday after the race I noticed that their was a "Crack and bump" in the rear wheel !!! :? :?
Now I'm may send them back to Germany and hopely they can fix it.....
But this are great wheels, light and stiff. I love them.

Johan,

are you positive about the rear wheel being a Corima? i examined several pics of the AGR very closely and the longer i look, the more i think it *is* a rear Lightweight wheel. (This was also discussed in german "Tour" magazine's forum). Even Carbonsports have confirmed that Wese used a complete set of LWs?

Martin

Thats a LW to me

I think Wese is using LW at the rear too. Look carefully at the spokes and I am sure that you can see the point where they are tied together with the carbon.

hi

you said, that you bought the wheels self. how long did YOU wait for this set? is the waiting-time for a pro also 3-4 month? it don't have to interest me, because i've got my own lightweight-wheelset :P . but i'm wondered as well. and have you got a wheelset without the 'lightweight'-decals?

waiting time

:D i didn't wait for my wheelset. i said that i take it, and some days later i hold them in my hands. and that without decals :P not so bad? or? o.k. i bought them used. i've them from a triathlon-pro. he used them for 5 times perhaps. so, they looks like new ones. :D and were very much cheapier
