to me the rear end looks like normal 130mm road bike geometry, not normal track bike width. all things considered this is 'just' a red cervelo p3 being used on the track. I also noticed that a bike that apears to belong to a csc team member has a fizik arione saddle on it. since it's not lighter than most saddles I am assuming he finds itr more comfortable than sella italia offerings.

How can you tell that luke roberts is riding an arione, because I sure can't.
Maybe you have x-ray vision

My mistake, I was looking at the original set of pictures from the U23 Internarional Track-Meeting in Vienna and assumed they were associated with the other photo, you can see the arione in the first set tof pictures.

Luke's using a Campag rear wheel (top picture). I'm surprised Zipp didn't provide him with one of their rims laced up to a track hub.

Yeah, they are my photos. No worries though, I was sat next to Luke in the rider's area at Herne Hill. The Cervelo is very nice, Luke often changing the bars and wheels himself for the different events.

Are those P3Cs with different dropouts or completely different frames? Do track riders use the same geometry and rear axle spacing as roadies?
