I'm currently using Zipp quick-release skewers-weight about 85 grams. Are there any alternative quick release skewers that would result in a significant weight savings?
If so, where can they be purchased in the USA?

The SpinStix are very nice, but they won't work in all orientations if you have Wright/Breezer style hooded rear dropouts.

Bold are really good also, 49 gr per pair 8), and beautiful.

American Classic Ti nice. They are easy to use and robust. I've been using for two seasons without any problems.

Bold precision super light weight, super expensive.

Do a search under my name with Bold precision and you will find a shop in SoCal thats stocks them.

The SpeedCific skewers are not as light, 76 gr, but a good deal for the money: $29.00.
