What's the lightest ( and most practicle ) front derailleur clamp? My Ghisallo frame came with a heavy, ugly Shimano clamp which I want to replace.
I'd also like to replace the Litespeed seat post clamp which seems very heavy-any advice about both these items would be much appreciated.
if anyone knows where these things can be purchased in the US please let me know.

I found the best solution is to buy a clamp version of your front derailleur. Any seperate clamp is heavy, because of the extra bolt and material.

Extralite make nice clamps that are among the lightest; www.light-bikes.com imports Extralite.

Shimano makes one, ugly, heavy:

Problem Solvers makes one, still ugly, a little less heavy?:

I agree with Ye Olde, swap out the derailleur for a clamp-on.

The Extralite seat clamp is 9 gr (ti bolt) or 12 gr, hard to beat.

Thanks for the good advice! The FD has been swapped for the clamp-on type and the new seat clamp is on order! Now if my Zipp 202's would show up I'd be ready to roll!
