HUBS WITH THREADED FLANGES ?

industry nine does, but they are not available as road wheels yet. i met with a couple of them and it looks like road wheels will be coming soon though... other than that i am a bit at a loss.

I think he means threaded (as in screwed in) rather than threaded (through a hole)

Zipp 82/182 hubs are threaded.
As are Shimano's and Cane Creek's hubs, but that's because the spoke nipples are hub mounted.
