Hi,

Is it possible to use a deda newton handlebar with a stem of a different brand? The reason I am asking is that the deda newton handlebar is advertised with 31.7 mm whille most stems are 31.8.

My question is does the 0.1 mm really matter?

yep. I'm using one with a Thomson x2 with no problem. I'd be surprised if manufacturing tolerances between bar and stem don't override that 0.1 mm diff anyway.

I don't think it matters.

I've seen riders user ITM Millennium 31,8 stem with Deda Newton 31,7 bar etc....

By the way, Deda advertises their stuff as 31,7 but on the bar it says '31.75'
Whow! That's a pretty damn nice garage door!
