I call it "jigsaw" tube set because you can put all tube together with a kind of mechanical lock.
There are 5 pieces for one frame.
1.seat tube
2. V-foil top and down tube
3.Monoblock headtube
4. seatstay set
5.chainstay

very interesting!

any more on this? did you get a pic of an unassembled frame? more close ups of carbon any frame joints would be nice, I collect them. you can email them to me if you like. nick@crumptoncycles.com

Frankie B - The Tektro is not the same brake as the AX !? - The thing where the cable goes down into the adjuster is different + the cable attachment is different...

I think the frame itself is very ugly. The paints not so bad. Just the construction, frame shape, and carbon weave looks very crappy.

I agree. The design/fab looks unrefined, joints look clumsy. "God is in the details".
The other Giants look like they're made with love, this looks like a shop-fab proto, not a benchmark class act.
Re: the paint: Enough with the ugly gold swirlies....
The "jigsaw" frame is way more interesting, to me.

Hopefully that Advance frame is just a rush job prototype because it looks like my carefree Prozac popping neighbor did it in his garage.

Yeah, exactly, but so why did they wear a stained, ripped tux to the big dance?

The devil's in the detail. It looks very scruffy. And the graphics on most TCR's. Why? Less is more. I held off getting a TCR for sometime because I didn't realise I could get the plain black I did get in the end. And the protype one we got posted last week looks the Dogs Bollocks as we say in the UK. Nikh will explain!!! Mind you i'm still coming down from the rush when all the pics appeared. Anymore in such a short time will mean a five fingered shuffle!!!!

Hey, we'd all like to see the pics :!: Glad you posted to the forum, Velocity, this is all interesting stuff.
Nic, you're a builder, what's your reaction to those mechanicals? What do you think the detail is?
