standing on footbeds is no guide, mine look about the same, the shoe size is correct, there are three rules of shoe sizing...

if it feels too small it's too small

if it feels ok it's ok

if it feels too big it's too big

I just went through this and agree with sungod. The way the upper is shaped affects sizing so footbed alone isn't a good measure. If it's too small it will be obvious. If your foot moves back and forth, it is too big.

Another reason it looks like that is because shoes aren't generally made to be foot shaped. I won't go into picking shoes that are. If you moved your foot up and it was close to the top edge, the sides of your foot would fall off the sides and it wouldn't be comfortable inside the shoe.

I feel very slight movement in my heels.
I can't pull them out when I do the heel pull test though.

It sounds like you don’t think they fit- this forum is not going to help with that. And by the sound of it you have already answered your question.

Yes, generally they're only sold in schoolgirl sizes.

You feel the movement when standing in the shoes, or when actually riding?
