I went through the same search about 18 months ago and ended up with Genesis Volare 931, which is also available with Reynolds 853.

Otherwise Condor Acciaio/Super Acciaio or Dedacciai Strada Zero 25 are worth considering assuming the geometry works for you.

Thanks for the lead. Had not heard of them before.
Mind posting a pic of the build?

Pota!

https://www.ciocc.it/

Check the ProRace.

Don’t know if you’re located in the UK. If so just contact them, fly to Bergamo (Ryanair) or Milan, they’re a stone throw away.

Tell them what you want, they’ll make it in 6 weeks.

IIRC my Logic it was a 55.

Mid-reach brakes can look ok too, I'm running TRP 957 on the Heretic CL2:

Note the clearance - 35mm tires fit just fine :D

Re Etap on the Ritchey: You can always cut off the cable stops and then just go to spot repair shop, they can probably match any paint.

I have no experience of the brand but it was on my list when I was looking for a new bike. The new version ticks a few of your boxes.

+1 on Stelbel SB/03

I had a Ritchey Road Logic. It's a nice bike, but I wouldn't call it "modern steel". Stelbel is leaps and bounds beyond.

Had not considered Stinner.
Will check them out.
Thanks!
My Stinner Gibraltar frame was about 1600 g. Weight for custom geometry somewhere around a size 54/medium but slightly more relaxed and traditional horizontal toptube, internal brake cable routing with full housing guide and pressed in headset cups (but not the bearings).

Edit: Weight was obviously for the frame only and not complete frameset which accidentally stated originally. Sorry if I got anyone's hopes up!
