I currently have the standard expander that came with the fork.
I was looking at the Extralite Ultrastar, but I'm not sure if it would fit. Another option I'm considering is the Schmolke carbon ahead plugs.

Anyone with a similar setup have any words of advice to share?

EDIT: measured the internal width of the fork, looks like it's around 2.0-2.1 cm. So no Extralite Ultrastar.

Ow, that's so close. Could you file down the alloy parts and make the Ultrastar smaller dia?
Less is more.

Not sure if this will work? Sold as a expander for the Hylix 1" fork.

JRC can fit 21mm ID:

But that J&L one looks even lighter - good find!

Thanks for the mention guys. Just to confirm the expander does in fact fit 1" forks without hassle. Heres a terrible example pic for reference :) Without any expansion the plug is quite small so any 1" fork should be fine unless the iD is tiny
