Hi all ! would anyone who has m5 side pull brakes know if there should be a washer between the brake arms and the brake pad holders? I have some to go under the mounting bolt head but wasn't sure if there should be one in between the arm and the brake pad to keep the holders and arm from getting scratched. I just had them anodized and didn't want to "ugly" them up..

I have never used washers between the brake arms and stock pad holders.
The arms wont get scratched as long as you tighten the pad holder bolts tight when you are adjusting them.

I had to get low profile pad holders (THM) for wider rims because the stock pad holders are so thick.
