I've ridden both and have no complaints about either. They both ride really nice. The Factor is a little longer/lower and a bit more aggressive, but also super stable on the descents. Like the Tarmac, the Factor also comes in a bit over claimed weight. My 54 frame is right at 845 grams in Ag2r paint (I suspect the black will be lighter.)
I liked the O2 enough that I've ordered an O2 disc for myself as well.

Rode the O2 disc and liked the nimbleness and weight. Can't speak for the new Specialized (ridden older models), but the Factor is a great bike and can't imagine the new Tarmac is much better if even for a traditional round tube frame. Would take the Factor over Specialized just for aesthetics and bling.
I’ve ridden the O2, but not the Spesh.
Loved the O2 and if I had the money, would buy that for sure, esp in disc form.
Sadly, can’t do that , so will stick with what I have.
The O2 was a beautiful bike, stiff and responsive, but not overly harsh. Nice and light too.

Tarmac is more good option rather than o2.
reliability of factor bike is too far to catch up specialized.
Tarmac is verified frame through evolution. o2? i dont think so..
Remember factor bikes didint had TT frameset until they start sponsoring in a AG2R.
