Help, can somebody help me make my mind up. I am agonising over the choice of two different bikes both of which are good deals. One is a De Rosa SK Pininfarina the other a Storck Aeroad Pro g1 Both are aero both have good reviews. Do i go for the Italian styling or the German functionality. Both have Dura Ace groupsets and similar type aero wheelsets. Advice would be appreciated.

I find it really odd when people ask strangers on the internet to "help them decide" which bike to choose. This is going to be your pride and joy! Not ours............ you have to pick the bike that YOU like best. Not the one someone else likes best.

Ugo DeRosa = Legendary.
Storck = perhaps dumbest bike name ever.

De Rosa, i wanted one for me, but there is only one option on proprietary seat post and the offset was too much for me.

IMO a De Rosa Protos ticks all the boxes.

Buy the one which you can cancel within 24 hours. Then sleep on it and it will be pretty clear your heart has made the right decision. Nothing factual from anyone else will help with this as its a "red wine or whiskey?" kind of question (actually, my answer to that one it both but nevermind)

I'd pick the one that causes more "emotion" in you and that you look at and feel the need to touch and ride it ;)

(...and i'd also go with @kgt: the Protos is damn awesome in case you want to also consider that one/got a deal on it)

Are you saying all De rosa require this seatpost? Or just the Pininfarina?

I have a Protos frame I’m building and I thought it accepted a standard 31.6
