So I've just installed a shimano chain pin on the trailing edge, rather than the leading edge as suggested by the instructions. Would anybody be able to put a rough number on how much weaker this is?
Would the chain be stronger if I replaced this section? would two pins in the correct position be stronger than one pin in the wrong position?
P.S. I have my reasons for not wanting to use a quick link, so please don't tell me I to use a quick link
