I would like to buy Deda Superzero carbon bars, but they have 31.7mm diameter, not standard 31.8mm. Is it OK with non deda stem (Foil) or it is gonna be a problem?
Thanks!

Yeah, it will be fine. The standard is actually 1 1/4" which is 31.75mm. Most round up but for some reason Deda round down.

Deda were the first to go with the new bar size at the end of the 1990s. They went with 31.7 as the marketed size. Other stem makers, late to the oversized party, went with 31.8 to differentiate themselves from Deda.

They also measure outside to outside on their bars while pretty much everyone else measures center to center. So if you are buying the stated size your bar is going be ~2cm narrower than listed compared to other bars.
