Hi ,

When stripping and cleaning my brakes i have somehow lost the slotted screw / pin that holds the return spring in place

Its the part that stops the lateral play of the spring at each end.

I have searched for spares but couldnt find anything or even the correct name

Can anyone please help or even tip for alternative solution?

You could try screwing in a slotted screw from the other side, ending with the slot vertical. If the slot is not wide enough to seat the spring, widen with a file.

Call your bike shop. I believe Sram sells a replacement kit.

I lost the cable barrel on mine, and I think the replacement pack came with those too.
