Do you know any cheap and good carbon rims for road bikes with discbrakes?
I am looking for 38 mm - 48 mm rims. I might also consider to import from china, if the rims from there are proven to be good.
Why is it by the way that famous rim manufactures like Mavic and DT Swiss only sell alloy rims, although they have complete wheels on offer with carbon rims?

Based on my research and dealings with Chinese rim vendors, most are happy to make a rim by request with no brake track. Hong Fu produced two AR40-T rims for me (40mm deep x 27mm wide tubular) with no brake track for my FM079-F disc build.

Bdop do a 40mm deep 26mm wide carbon tubeless disc rim. I bought their DIY kit and built up a pair of wheels; the rim is very nice indeed, 410g.
