I'm setting up the seat on my bike, and I'd like your opinion and how much further can I bring it forward? Where the stop is a hard stop? #1, #2 or other position altogether?

No problem with the examples you gave...I would go with what ever you need for proper fit.
I go extreme opposite meaning my saddle is back beyond stop mark on rails
If it is not light carbon rails & your not on a bend section of the seat rail I have never seen a problem

I've had it set beyond the stop marks. My understanding is it works fine but you will lose some flex in the rails making the seat less comfortable.
Haven't looked at your picture but if you have an offset seatpost you can sometimes turn it around to extend your range.
