I am seeing this directly at the product spec.TobinHatesYou wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 11:13 amThe Ultralight comes with the gloss black logo and silver stencil option? I thought that was just a regular S-Works.
I can confirm this is 100% a UL frame, it has UL printed on the box, it's a very raw finish and the fact it comes in at under 800 grams confirms it's a UL.
I'll post photos of it once it's built

The Ultralight Disc frameset has the following Part No. 74918-0044. It is always listed on the frameset. I hope the UL is not identical to the regular S-Works frameset, but has a different S-Works logo finish just as depicted on the Specialized website. You are paying more money mind you.TomUK87 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 2:40 pmTorbjorn wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 1:52 pmI concur, I believe the bike in the photo is the regular S-Works. Looking forward to seeing your final build. Waiting for my LBS to tell me that my 61 cm UL frameset has arrived. Will be sure to take pics (including Part No.) and share some weights and data.
Cheers,
Dan

I wish I could afford 2 frames....i'm starting to like the 1st one....the cammo light blue look as well.TobinHatesYou wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 7:54 amDoesn't look like it. There's already several limited edition frames including the QSF team, Bora-Hansgrohe team, Boels-Dolmans team, reddish-blue chameleon, teal geometric pattern, purplish-blue geometric pattern chameleon.

Retail pricing isn't showing on Specialized's site yet. Anyone knows the MSRP in USD for a full bike?

I mean, the 56cm UL is supposed to be 733g and the 56cm non-UL is supposed to be 800g, so a 52cm UL ate a few too many crackers if it weighs nearly 800g.
All the reviews are saying $11k. The rim brake with DA Di2 is what, $9500? And the new bikes are getting disc brakes and a power meter, so that's an easy $1500 price hike.hypercycler wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 10:03 pmRetail pricing isn't showing on Specialized's site yet. Looking forward to the Etap disc model being $13k or something stupid like that.
^ Di2 spec'd bike are usually a little more then eTap... but you can bet it will be expensive.

I really like this one and, about a year ago, when I had essentially decided that the S-Works Tarmac Disc would be my next bike, this is exactly how I had envisioned it.
However, the long delay before the disc model's release, and the reality of the crazy retail prices for high-end bikes (especially in Canada) thave caught up with me. I ended up ordering a Canyon Aeroad CF SLX Disc with Ultegra Di2 instead. What's crazy about it is: I still consider that to be a high-end bike, but even with the addition of a P2M power meter, it comes down to less than HALF (!!!) of what this S-Works Tarmac disc would have cost me. And that's where my budget topped out.
I think it's still a nice consolation price (especially for less than half the price of the Tarmac), but looking at that bike, I can't help but think I would have liked it a lot. I love my SL4...
Its new- all want it- price will be high. So they work less and earn same money. Smart
Why they will be cheaper and sell more (work more, has more failures....)

I just bought my S works tarmac rim brake version about 10 days ago. My dealer (I used to work for them) said that someone wants to buy it and the distributor is sold out. So they are offering to loan me something while I wait on whatever new item I want. I have a di2 disc grouppo so I think I may go after the matte black with silver lettering version.
I'm gonna see what the wait time is like, but I'm considering switching to the disc version.
