What would be a good grease for the contact surface between carbon saddle rails and seatpost clamp? The noise started only after I switched from Selle Italia SLR Superflow to Romin EVO Pro therefore I'm going to tackle this area before moving to others. I checked the saddle carefully and it looks like the latest Romin EVO Pro has the rails and saddle base molded together so there is no rail insertions for lube. Finally the noise is not the typical high pitch click click noise but more low frequency thumb thumb noise.

Couldn't you just wrap the rails in something (grip tape, electrical tape?) so you don't have to bother with paste at all?

Fizik sort of does this on their carbon railed saddles. It does make the rails slightly oversized though so won't fit seatposts which clamp from the sides sized for the typical 7x9 mm rails.
