The spokes on the pictures look like steel spokes with carbon-wrappings in the middle section and when you look at the picture of the road version very closely it seems as if they aren't tensioned (they're bowing):

either they do not have any tension or its not a real picture of them, just something created in photoshop. :idea:

sucks that you can not use those spokes with a regular hub. does anyone make a full carbon spoke with an alloy bonded thread - for higher spoke tension (since carbon would strip)?
