Rotor Uno Cassette shift and noise performance

I was on a full rotor uno including the cassette.

Swapped to a full di2 groupset.

I played with Uno at NAHBS two years ago. It was bad. Shifting the front derailleur took way too much hand effort. There's nothing to it...Uno is priced higher than any mechanical groupset, and it's inferior to the electronic groupsets available today.

Seems like Rotor is late to the party with the Uno. Perhaps if it had come out before Di2 it would have been more popular but I just can’t see how it competes with electronic groups or who would spend the money on it?

Edit-although that cassette is pretty sweet, I’m super tempted to snag one when my SRAM XG needs replacing.

the cassette is incredibly sweet indeed, but at 350€ a pop its really hard to justify. There are plenty of other places to save 30g for a LOT less dough. I guess if you've scrounged every other gram possible it's worth it, but otherwise...
Then again if your cassette needs replacing anyway it's only 100€ more than DA or Red... but again, 5€/g is at the steep end of things, particularly if shifting quality is at stake as it has been suggested on this thread...

It won’t last as long as a SRAM XG1190 cassette either since the 25t second cog is also aluminum.

Just saying a weight weenie cassette might actually be used for climbing where the gram savings matter most.

I have no hills where I live(not seeking any either). I just wanted one after I saw a Cycling Weekly "Gear of the Month" episode. Second will be here in a couple of days.

Sold my rotor uno cassette, it's way too noisey and the jump between gears didnt help either.
Back to Red cassettes now!

They must be adequate as Ollie Woodbridge at GCN used one on his hill climb attempt this month.

I just picked one up. Shifting is spot on with Dura Ace 9150 Di2 and a YBN chain. The noise is about the same. Easy to install obviously being one piece. I'll report back if it eats through my Mig 150 cassette body as it is machined on the splines to further save weight.
