Whats the lightest ViAS disc gettong about? A 58 is meant to be 7.4 stock... Its damn tempting with a second set of light shallow tubs..

Sure, watch this space. I'll grab a video of me weighing them on a scale.
They can be set up with with the front 9mm QR, 12mm TA or 15mm TA and the rear is 10mm QR x 135 OLD, 12mm x 135mm OLD or 12 x 142mm. Centerlock only.
The stiffness I can tell you is incredible. The only similar road wheel I've ridden is the C75 Dura-Ace wheels. With 24 spokes 2x these have incredible lateral stiffness. I've got 2 seasons of 'cross racing on a set and have used them on my STRADA since June. I will say that they are not ideal for lighter riders in gusty crosswinds. I'm nearly 200# so I don't mind them for every day use but on a small frame with a small rider you'll feel them in 20+mph gusts. On the other hand, you'll have a big aero advantage so there's a trade off as always.

7.4kg stock is a marketing pipedream. The various Venge ViAS Discs that have been raced in the World Tour have been 7.9-8.1kg with pedals and tubs.

The frame is already little over 1.5kg (ok this version has a ton of paint and includes bb..), fork is not the lightest, stem is heavy etc. Also if you for instance search for Kittels Vias Disc, which happens to be a size 58, they're all pretty heavy as well. Normally Specialized bikes are one a 3 year cycle and the vias was first released in 2015; so a new version in 2018 is surely possible. Also the latest new bikes all dropped quite some weight (Epic HT/Epic FS/Tarmac/Roubaix), so hopefully this will follow the same trend.

Marketing in cycling is total nonsense most of the time. When it comes to weight just don't believe anything until you see the bike / a part on a scale. 99.9% of all products go over the specified weight.

Tarmac frames with normal paintjobs are coming in between 860-920g. Not even that light.

Apart from the cables I actually think that's a really nice bike.

And I just reconfirmed I'm way too OCD as I noticed the Continental logos are misaligned between the two tires

Ridley Noah is pretty heavy, they claim the weight without paint and the fork is another piece of brick, they should do something with it.

other than that it seems pretty good, you can have custom paint, they have taller head tube, for me better as i would not need many spacers under the stem..
