Im thinking about getting these. Advertised weight is 240 grams which seems optimistic. I would need a 11cm x 42cm. Anyone actually weighed these?
It's for my madone restoration project. Whilst the bars wouldn't be period specific it would save me a stack of weight. The alternative would be a kalloy stem and then a carbon bar like a controltech or deda.

I believe the weight is actually accurate. I have held and flexed them when the first came out and they were the flexiest set of bars i have ever manhandled. Caveat is that they were the first generation and I am sure that they have been revised since (it seemed like a well known problem) but I would want to try them in my hands before putting my cash down.

Granted, these aren't the "real" thing but I have most of a season and several thousand miles on mine and I really dig them. I'm only 130lbs, but they are plenty stiff for me.

Thanks for all the responses. Be good to see what a real weight is like, 240 seems very low.

I'm planning to get a set of these. I had read they were really stiff but it concerns be something saying they're really flexy! Were this testing on a bike or just in hand?

I have some and they were flexy in hand but completely unnoticeable on the bike. Not sure what mine weighed and they are on the bike now, have been for about a year.

Slight necro.
Just got the 110mm/420mm version on clearance direct from Trek for $300. Weight including bolts and plug on the Blendr mount is 251g

These things are incredibly light, less than an Extralite stem with Schmolke TLO bars for example. Most other integrated come up as boat anchors averaging around 400 grams. I wish someone would make something both reasonably light (300-350) and solid.

The few info on those xxx bars have been quite a lack of stiffness (and considering that even soft combos are not very often called "soft" I would think those are really soft).
Like you I think something in the 300-350g would be nice. The only option I see so far are the canyon ones, in short length like the one I look after that's 335g on top of my head (and keep the aero benefit).

I have not noticed any abnormal flex in mine, meaning that as best as I can tell, they behave the same as heavier aluminum bars on my other bikes. I am a big guy (100 kg), but a pretty smooth rider and don't pull on the bars too hard.
Yeah, I don't know where the flex comments are coming from in ordinary use. Mine are almost too stiff.

I'm 135lbs and my 15s max sprint is like 850W. I don't think I'll be flexing these too much.
