My wife surprised me with a 2016 Evo Tiagra and I am looking at different ways to lighten it up. I recently replaced the stock Maddox 2.0 wheelset with a set of Cosine 32mm tubeless ready clinchers. The swap saved a lot of weight and made the bike handle significantly better. Now I am looking at the basics. Do you guys have any suggestions on reliable carbon seat posts that won't break the bank?

I used a Hylix carbon post from eBay in my 2016 evo. Very lightweight for the price and i had no issues with mine at all. Quality was pretty damn good for the price (£40 delivered if I remember correctly) and it never slipped on me.

+1 for hylix
Other than that you're spending at least $180

Thanks! I was leaning towards the hylix seatpost.
