Patching latex inner tubes

I patch them with regular butyl glue, but I'm using an old latex innertube to cut patches outside of it. Works like a charm! Those latex patches are so thin, you barely notice them when done.

I've patched with both cut-up sections of latex tube as well as the Park GP-2 patches in the past with success. I use a bit of vulcanizing glue with the park patches for a bit of extra security.

Thanks for the different tips. I will keep my broken latex tube next time for patching. :)

No problems patching with pieces cut from a Michelin latex tube and standard Rema glue.
