Anyone got experience of this combo? Lbs reports centring issues and lack of power. New fibulas a better bet?

Thanks

I have EE brakes on my 2015 Evo Hi-MOD, no issues what so ever. Can't speak for the new models but I wouldn't imagine they would have issues

Considering EE's to replace the wobbly Sram Reds on my '15 Evo.
Rode a buddy's Erickson Ti with EE's the other day.
Found them to work better than Reds, but not as good as Dura-Ace.
Not thrilled about the high price tag. That could delay the purchase. :unbelievable:

Have EE's on 2016 Hi-Mod with Dura-Ace 9150. For a year now. Works great. Tons of power and modulation, always centered. Find a new LBS :)

Another vote for no issues on SS Evos and SE. Your housing lengths may need to be longer, as it was in my case.

Rear housing length must be spot on, but that's not an evo only issue. Intial bite less than DA but not appreciably less ultimate power. I actually prefer the modulation of ee's, and have both DA and ee on different bikes.

the old model had fiddlier centering as it used an eccentric mounting bolt, but the current model has a normal bolt and is actually easier to centre than most brakes as no tools are needed

ee brakes have absolutely no issue with power, sounds like they are thinking of some other brakes!

the fwb brake test included the old model, it came out very well, the new one is even better...
