Under 100gm saddle with some flex for 61kg rider
Moderator: robbosmans
Coming from a Toupe saddle (I get on with the shape), I purchased a china saddle (130gm) which had a similar shape, to tryout. The china saddle is hard as a rock, but is ok for 4/5 hour rides.
Out of the exotic brands, can anyone suggest some options which would have some flex (at my weight). Seeking a saddle for all-day rides.

My Tune Speedneedles and AX Sprint have both a nice amount of flex, but I'm 77kg.
I had 2 China saddles though and they were about as flexible as a bathroom tile.

I have a bathroom tile chinese saddle and I've used it for 7+ hour rides.
Sure I was uncomfortable towards the end, but it certainly wasn't my ass that hurt the worst...
I'd like to upgrade but every other featherlight saddle with some flex is literally tens of times the price of the chinese ones. I'm 68kg btw.

I bought my 3 high-end saddles for more or less reasonable prices 2nd hand. Each about 2-3x of what another aliexpress saddle would have cost me.

Berk's Lupina
or
SMUD's saddle (unnamed)
Both very, very comfy... but it depends on your preference.
The Lupina is great, and while I ride it most often, the SMUD is still quite special (and came out lighter by a few grams... which.... you know... this site....)

+1 for Smud, spent few seasons on first iteration of this saddle.
