Has anyone figured out how to fit TT Bars on the Madone 9? Any news when the adapter to go to regular bars will be made available to bike shops?

TFS was using a team-only cover, which they could attach a standard 31.8mm bar/stem combo (you can see a glimpse of it in the photo). This wasn't available to the general public... until now! Go to your dealer, you'll need to get a Madone 9.0 (very important) head tube cover, which you can then mate to a standard stem and bar. It doesn't look like Trek has any interest in allowing us to put aero bars on the standard Madone bar/stem combo.

How are you with carbon fiber? This was a custom job for a junior rider by one of our mechanics.

As for "Headset Part Trek Madone Non Integrated HB Headset SpacerKit" no availability showing on my end. Cant imagine it being too far away though. Trek's SKU is 560691

That's one helluva contraption! How much did that end up weighing?

Didn't get a chance to weigh it. It's a solid contraption though. Good option for a junior to get aero.

We are lucky here to have a carbon wizard in the workshop.

My carbon skills are limited to say the least, I am going to look at ordering the Head Tube cover for the Madone 9.0 and see if I can mount regular bars with TT.

Thanks guys, I have my local bike shop looking into availability.
