Have been meaning to post pics for a while. Built it at the start of August as soon as H11 landed here. Which turned out to be before Campag had given their distributors any education or parts lists, so it was a bit of a journey of discovery (happily it's all Magura kit for the Hydros so I had all the necessary tools).

Tyres are Conti GP4000SII 28, measuring out at ~31mm

And I weighed as I built:

After taking these pics I went for a 10min ride around the block then packed it into the Evoc bag to go to Austria for a very unpleasant triathlon (2500m climbing in 93km). Not how I usually like to do things (both racing on an untested bike and riding up big hills).

That looks like loads of clearance available, even with 28mm tyres. What's the max it'll fit? I expected 25mm.

looks like more than enough room for 30mm.

The rimbrakes are officially listed as 25mm, discs are 28.
On my rimbrake c2, I had GP4000 on SL23 rims which was around 27.5mm and had plenty of clearance to spare.

Thanks, makes these a very attractive option for a N+1

The 28mm tyres were 31mm when fairly new so would be out to 32 now.
Tempted to get some 33mm CX tyres so this can be my gravel-ish bike, I don't see an issue with fitting.
Tyre clearance defined by having 6mm all around on modern bikes, so you can always go bigger than stated.

I've been running 28mm Vittoria G+ on Zipp 202 rims on my rim brake Tere and they fit with plenty of room. Tires measure a good deal more than 28mm so I don't think you will have a problem going to 33 on the disc frame.

Hey all,

What BB did it come with? I am looking to order one but I will be putting a GXP SRAM crank on it so need a 22mm bearing on the non drive side.

Cheers,

SimmyD

It’s a PF86 BB not included with frame. For your GXP crank you can purchase any PF86 GXP Bottom bracket.

Saw this stunning frameset design and ordered one straight away. Big fan of the elegant frame design and colour choices, will update here once my build is ready! =)
