21 for road 27 for mtb
Hello,
i tried to get the brakes, too, but was overbidden.
I had them 4 years ago for a complete saison for racing. On trafic-less roads and on flat roads OK, but if a crash is is in front of you or a descent, you have no chance to stop!!!
They are nice, light, aero, but the braking power is bad as the translation/ratio is too big, so you pull a little bit on the lever, and the caliper moves a long way.
After that i had another light old brake, but after some friends left me alone on a descent in high mountains, i sworn NEVER use very light brakes that have not enough power. You are much slower with them on a descent and at cornering!!!

It's certainly the mark of a nice design when they still look modern 20 years later. They would have looked right at home in a 2006 trade show.
Nice try, but thats why I need such aero brakes, because I have such a wide frame with great head tube and seat stays!!!!!
Ti or dye!

Hi All
I was googling "kronos" and saw this thread
2006 ~ till now, how are your kronos holding up?
Just wanted to say that the rear caliper in your photos are mounted wrongly?
I remember reading instructions that both front and rear calipers
must be mounted facing forward.
If not, it will lead to the caliper cracking.

Often been called speed modulators rather than brakes
But boy do they look good
