Groove between tire and rim - silicone or latex or ?
Moderator: robbosmans
The Mavic aeroblades were banned because they may become detached and jam into the wheels/chain etc so causing a crash. I have a particularly large lip between tyre and rim, I was thinking of going down the clear sealant route. I have tubeless setup.

I did a video on exactly this.
Silicone is suprisingly easy to apply, and makes a smooth transition between tyre and rim.
It is cheap, light and flexible. No downside that I can see.
And your wheel will definitely be more aero - how much is anyone's guess....
