But I prefer the new Orbed aero for example. You can also have very nice colours

Or the Specialized Venge VIAS:

Orbea is not disc brake and Venge is said not to be very comfortable.. Giant had plenty of time for development, they focused on disc brake version so i hope they have nailed it! I am also looking forward to seeing new disc Scott Foil. It has not been introduced yet but should be within next months.

Or a BMC teammachine disc?

Agreed. I hope the disc version doesn't carry the same "theme" as the rim brake versions

seems, we are almost there:) if you google giant propel disc, there is a page on Polish sites in google results showing Giant Propel Pro Disc (2018), unfortunately if you click, you will find just "page not found" But within a month, probably before Eurobike, when Giant introduces new models to dealers, we will know for sure..

oraclesin: yes, this is a "prototype" ridden by team Sunweb on Tour de France. We are waiting for final release available to customers, what will be the configurations/prices/colours...

I was told late August, early September for Giant to post up the 2018 Propels on their U.S. website. I'm waiting to see what the 2018 Propel looks until i decide my next bike purchase, an aero bike. I'm also considering the new Orca Aero, Bianchi Oltre XR4, and of course the Propel.

So, the bikes carry the same color scheme as the rim-brake versions listed further up in this thread, and the stem is as sharp-edged as seen on the sunweb version.

Interesting/dissapointing that they decide to use composite fork with alloy steer tube on the mechanical ultegra version. They all get 65mm rear wheel and 42mm front wheel, tubeless ready.

You can see them here: https://issuu.com/progresscycle/docs/gi ... rcebook-cz
Not excited about the colour scheme:( The only scheme I like is the red mechanical version, but it is the cheapest carbon grade, so not what i would like to... Sunweb color scheme is by far better.

Really not liking the 65/42mm wheel combo. Looks shit and why the *f##k* would I want a wheel that shallow on my aero bike! Clearly aiming it at full MAMILz.

I agree! Ugly ass graphics on frame and wheels. Looks like an eBay "aero" bike that sells for $199.

I was really hoping for a nicer (smaller, cleaner, smoother looking) stem as opposed to the "prototype" we saw at the Tour.
And this years color scheme for the Propels might not be to everyone's liking, sure isn't to mine. They actually did an ok job on the other models (TCR, Defy,...).

In terms of graphic design their work is fine.
