I've been reusing a Sram quick link on Dura Ace 11 speed chains for several chains. I've had no problem whatsoever...but should I be concerned? I still have to use a tool to take it apart. I've been using it to clean my chain.

I reinstall the sram links on xx1 chains... but every time I think about it I get a little nervous.

I've seen the 10-speed version of the KMC link go that cheap. But all 11-speed versions are at least $5 a piece. Is yours 11-speed?

I just bought four pairs from this eBay seller. With shipping from Taiwan it worked out to be $6 a pair. Not too bad considering the KMC version sells for that much here in the U.S.

Thanks. I just need four pairs to get me through my current Dura Ace chain inventory. I called Shimano USA and asked them when will the new link be included in their chains. He said not for 'many months'.

I've used the KMC 11spd quick links with no problems...and with the remove and open tools. i reuse them only if they click back in together with the close tool, than by hand. if they fit by hand easily, that's when i figure i have to replace it.

the pin is stuck there, and I cant get it through however I try..
I don't have specific pliers but that wasn't a problem with my KMC link
Easiest way to install is to have it on the top of the chainline, hold left crank at 270d and press down with right crack.... works with all chain QR's
