Has anyone actually put an S-works or Pro version on the scales yet?
Besides the specialized marketing team, I mean?
There are various numbers out there, from the improbable specialized claim that the bike can be built to hit 15.4 lbs and what they called the s-works version with di2 was at 17.1 (though they don't actually sell a di2 s-works version).
There's talk of 8 kg in the Sagan disc thread, and I've been told by a dealer who built one that a pro with ultegra di2 came in close to 19 lbs, but he was vague, maybe intentionally. So that's quite a range, though of course that's also a broad range of builds.

Almost positive the lightweight sub 16 lb spesh was speaking of is if you you were to use lightweight tubular wheels, and a lightweight stem and and bar combo (not the Vias bar and stem), and I haven't seen many of them being built without the stock stem and bar combo.

Yep, that sounds about right. based on the 18.1 I can get it down to just over 16 3/4 by swapping in 9170 shifters, calipers and rotors, an ax lightness saddle, and a couple of other tweaks. having to go to an 86 gram saddle to get to 16.75 seems like a bit far.
Saw you put the McLaren up, why did you decide it was time?

Oh it's somewhat heavy... Because of its stiffness?

Has anyone actually weighed the Vias integrated stem? Wondering how much weight you can actually save and therefore its its worth sacrificing the clean no cable look. Id probably run the Aerofly bar regardless as i quite like it.
Thanks!

The 115mm stem with stem cap, bolts and shims weighs 298g, it's pretty heavy.

Also the vias aerofly is different, and much cheaper, than a normal aerofly that you'd use w/ a non vias stem. Just guessing but based on the lower price and proprietary mounting system the vias aerofly is heavier.

rather "aeroness". Aero frames are not "stiff" per se.

I have the rim Vias, its super stiff. Thanks for the info and also interesting about the bars, assumed they were the same except for the cable hole.

I have a 2018 Venge Vias Disc with eTap ENVE 5.6s and a quarq dzero and it comes in at 18.6 lbs with dura ace pedals, computer mount, and bottle cages.

If you want some frameset weights:
54cm frame with derailleur hanger and bottom bracket installed: 1218g
Uncut fork: 439g
Seatpost with carbon rail hardware: 215g

Utterly gorgeous dvq, but quite heavy. Wonder what it would weigh in the Fact 12r carbon of the new Tarmac. Think the paint adds quite some weight as well.

Regardless, I love it!
