Hi all,

I'm hoping someone can help :)

I am looking to purchase a Canyon Endurace CF SLX frameset and run Di2 (I know you can by that model as a complete bike with Di2).

Can anyone please confirm what parts I need, specifically cables, junction boxes, brackets/shims for the internal battery, etc.

Many thanks in advance,

J.

If you want to buy everything separately this is what you will need

Ultegra 6870 or DA9070 Di2 Shifters
Ultegra 6870 or DA9070 Di2 Front derailleur
Ultegra 6870 or DA9070 Di2 Rear derailleur
Junction Box A - either a 3 or 5 port junction Box. SM-EW90-A or SM-EW90-B (This fits on the stem)
Junction box B - SM-JC41 (fits inside the bottom bracket/frame)
Internal Battery - SM-BTR2 (comes with bracket for seatpost)
Battery charger - SM-BCR2 (This doubles as a usb pc interface to customize settings, and update the firmware. And can only be used with the internal battery above)

Di2 plug tool - To insert and remove the wires (using any other type of tool may damage the wire)

2 shifter wires - 350mm each EW-SD50 (for 40,42,44cm bars. If you have 46cm bars get longer)
1 downtube wire - 1000mm EW-SD50
1 battery wire - 500mm EW-SD50
1 front derailleur wire -300mm EW-SD50
1 rear derailleur wire - 600mm EW-SD50

These above are typical cable lengths for a small to medium frame. If you have a large or bigger frame you should buy a longer downtube wire.

Alternatively you can buy a 'Di2 upgrade kit' that includes everything above.

a new EW-RS910 Junction-A box has also been released that fits into the bar end. So it is hidden out of the way. It requires an extra EW-JC130 Y-split wire.

If you do decide to buy it all separately. I have a new SM-JC41 Junction box B for sale. I am also based in the UK and i can give you a good price on it. PM me.

Hi there.

I don't think the bars have a hole to allow internal cables.

Cheers,

Why buy everything seperately?
It's so much cheaper to buy a complete Di2 Endurace.

Canyon did make (sell for the pedantic) either a mechanical or a Electronic frameset on various models.
They weren't the same frame, so make sure you are getting an electronic version before starting....

I think endurace bars do not have a hole for a new style bar end junction box..

Does anybody know how they mount a battery? their split seat post is compatible with some battery holder?

They do sell a specific Di2 frameset.

I know there is a junction box that mounts underneath the stem (there is no recess on the ergo cockpit like there is on the aero one). So I'm assuming two equal length cables from the shifters to this, then a single cable to another junction box (4 port) that is inside the frame. This internal JB then connects to each derailuer and the battery.

So I'm assuming a standard layout, but I'd like someone to confirm this?? And let me know cable lengths and if there are any other bits you need.

FYI, Shimano has a newer internal battery now. The model number for that is BT-DN110. This model has support for the new syncro-shift modes.

Hi again,

The groupset is finally becoming available.

I have a list of all the parts I need (and price), except for:

Exact Di2 cable lengths (I know I need 350mm for the shifters, I'm thinking 800mm for the down tube, 550mm for the RD, 300mm for the FD, I'm not sure how the battery is installed so cant chose the length yet)

I'm not sure if I need a battery mount for this frame.
