How wide of a rim fits on a Parlee Z5? Looking for new wheels for my wife's bike and I know the chain stay is kind of tight clearance wise... Would ENVE 4.5's fit? Zipp 303's?

Parlee will likely give you a prompt and reliable answer to that question. Tom at Parlee is (was?) a WW member.

I run Enve 4.5 on my z5 now..
25c tires might rub the chainstays ocassionally .. using 24c turbo cottons which are fine.
I can run arenburgs tubs (25s) with my Enve 2.2s

25mm tires rubbed everywhere. under fork, chain stays.

i ran Enve SES 2.2, 3.4, and 4.5 on my Z5 SLi before i decommissioned it (taking it out of my rotation). i could use 23mm on the Z5 with no issues. someone here had Calfee or another place to increase space in chain stays to fit 25mm tires. pretty cool job too.

I can run 25c in the fronts no issues.. but I'd rather run same size front and rear.. conti 4000s rub chainstays in 25c for sure with Enve .. even when I had skinner 3.4s

FWIW I run Conti GP4000 25's (and Vittoria G+ 25's) on my medium Z5 SLi but I'm using narrower wheels (C24 and C35). They fit without rub, just barely, if I have the wheels properly centered. The rear is tighter than the front.

Sounds like the 4.5's will be too wide to reliably use on the Z5. Some clearance, but not enough. And the 303's are wider, so that's not a good option either then.

you can run enve 4.5 with 23c or 24 wide tires is all. 25c is too close for comfort. My daily is 4.5s with Turbo Cotton 24s

Important question... are you using the new version of the 4.5's (the ones with the textured brake track) or the previous version? The width is different...
