My notes say Rival OCT (10s) compact crank arms in 165mm are ~560g. Rival 22 cranks must be even heavier, because they weigh more without BB than the Rival OCT with BB. Over a 100g difference when chainrings are factored in. I'm personally partial to 5700 cranks because you can run them with the Dura Ace BB but they look good with standard flat chainrings. It's about 20g lighter, and I prefer Shimano BBs over GXP BBs.

Fun fact, the Apex GXP crank is lighter than the Rival 22 crank.

Rival OCT
830g w/ BB
715g w/o BB

Force 22
830g w/ BB
715g w/o BB

Apex
890g w/ BB
775g w/o BB

Rival 22
959g w/ BB
844g w/o BB

Rival 22 should really be avoided if you aren't going to use the Yaw chainrings. The separate spider design and the Yaw chainrings add a lot of weight over the previous design. It's garbage, same with the Force 22 crank.

Oh wow.. surprised to hear apex is lighter than rival 22. Then I should opt for the old rival then.

Force and Rival 22 are only interesting for direct mount chainrings.
