Most comfortable (compliant) carbon bars?
Moderator: robbosmans
I ride longer distance, don't race and don't ride out of the saddle much so stiffness (which a lot of bars seem to prioritize) isn't as much a priority as comfort. What bars offer a comfortable and complaint ride without being noodly?
Thanks.
Thanks.

You can check out the Bontrager isocore/isozone bars with dampening pads included.
Im very satisfied from Easton EC90 SLX3 Handlebar.
Compliant, very comfrotable and stiff in same time (actually much stiffer then Zipp Service Course SL-80 that i had before).
I had few long rides (last one 207km), and on very bad roads, so i realized how good is it on this kind of rides..

After doing a lot of reading it seems Easton, Ritchey and Enve may provide the most compliance and damping while retaining stiffness. I don't suppose anyone has any comparison between these three brands? Agree that a slightly flattened top really helps for long rides.

25mm tires. Cinelli cork bar tape. i have aero Enve SES road bars where i can rest my forearms on. the tips of the bars flare out...never hit with my knees.
