Hi guys, I just received my Aeroad cf slx 8.00 and i cannot work out how to fix the seat post. The seat post inserts, but the guide and online videos doesn't show me how to clamp the seat post in position.
Any detailed vidoes or suggestions how to do this please? Maybe I didn't get sent the correct clamp part?

Thanks :)

Do you have the little clamp piece with a screw in it? If you have it, just stick it in like so:

If it's tight, then unscrew the bolt until it'll fit in. Then take the Canyon torque wrench and tighten it to 5nm max. 4.5nm and some carbon paste on the seatpost itself (also supplied in the Canyon kit) should be enough.

You can't really tell from the pics, but when you screw that bolt, it pushes a piece of the clamp horizontally against the seatpost. It's that pressure that keeps the seatpost in place.

Congrats on your Aeroad, great colour too!
