First post here, I'm new into road biking and I'm looking at upgrading my wheelset. I have a 2015 Cannondale. Super six Evo with around 28mm of total clearance on the rear chain stays. I'm currently running the stock RS11 wheels with Schwalbe one 25mm tires, they measure right at 26mm. I have roughly 1 mm of clearance on both sides.
Can anyone that has 23 or 24 mm wide rims, 17-19mm internal, measure their 23 or 25mm tires? I'm wanting to see how large the tires grow on wide rims.
Next question, for all around riding would I be better to run 23mm tires on a 23mm rim or 25 mm tires on a 21mm rim?
Thanks in advance.
Tire measurement on 23mm and 24mm rims.
