No way, I got an email from them today saying it's being tested at the Giro for a release in the summer!

Think I interpreted it wrong as 'reveal'.

Looks good, will judge after seeing more pics.

First segment in this vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wTElbw2spI

(Also, raced under vinyl already this season, raced without camo at the Giro, official release with facts and figures and blurb sometime in the summer.)

So much potential here. So much heritage to draw upon with their R3-SL (and SLC-SL to a lesser degree).

But, that drop bar with upturned drops? Ugh.

And hoping those Enve 2.2's are lighter than their first two attempts.

Proprietary seatpost? Its not enve. Looks okay, trad top tube would look better though. Preferred the camo to the paintjob.

Looks like a longer wheelbase and rake than the current r5. Looks nice, love the current model so this would need to be special to move things along

Wonder if that's the team colour. Consumer version will be plain black and white?

The camo wrap was amazing, but the green on this looks trick too. Especially loving the top and down tubes. Decent consolation prize.

EDIT: spotted this S5 just now. Me likey. Guessing the new range is going green 8)

Really nice looking frame and a return to simple and elegant paint schemes. Might be the bike to tempt me back to Cervelo from Cannondales.

Cervelo R5 is just... ok. Cervelo S5 is among the ugliest frames money can buy. Just MHO.

Right, because both of those things are features of the new frame

Well I wouldn't imagine it would, it's an aero-ish climbing frame, not an aero focused frame like the S5/Madone/Venge

pinarello philosophy 1 all around pro tour bike. aero/light/stiff. tested in the wind tunnel to match madone9.
verified by tour mag internation(2017 issue4). a real game changer. i never was a big fan of italian bikes but pinarello have surprised the industry with the f8/f10.
from last to first.

specialized/trek/canyon market two bikes one for the flats and one for the mtns. pinarello cost more but replace the need for two bikes.

27.2mm seatpost, doesn't look any narrower.
