Interseting- By my calculations this will take a fork with a much longer axle to crown to pull off that amount off stack with those head tube lengths.

Cervelo have already pointed out that the fork has a much longer axle to crown :wink:

They are not direct mount. Which you could tell by looking at any photo of the bike.

yeah, well, I thought I was wrong and that a 2017 redesigned bike would have that.

Size 48, head tube lenght 83mm :shock: :cry:

Necesary to use 28mm tyre. I think it would not look pretty in that size, my size....

Because they can only improve from where they were, right? ;)

Anyone came accros the weight of the Cervelo SP18 seatpost? They say frame weight is the same as previous R5, but the new post, being proprieatry, has also to be taken into account in the comparison... And their new TA system, simular to RAT? Also proprietary, surely quiet heavy. Both could add up and contribute to an not that impressive final weight, despite the low frame and fork weights. Just a tought, but this is weignt weenie after all.

The shell is not threaded, it is still PF. Threaded together is a bottom bracket for Shimano crank.

Nope. It's still a Pressfit shell. The spec sheet says they're using a thread together PF30 > PF86 convertor like this;

Customer Support says around 200g with hardware. I already placed an order for this new R5 anyway...
