Groupo Weight savings question
Moderator: robbosmans
sorry if this has been asked before.. but i'm currently running Red 10 speed groupo. question is will there be any weight savings if i went to eTap?
current setup:
Red 10 speed shifter, Red FD, Red Wifli RD, Sram 11/32 cassette
Red eTap 11sp shifter, FD, Wifli RD, Sram 1170 - 11/32 cassette
i'm thinking it will add more weight to my addict vs. less due to batteries, etc... or would it be breakeven?

My bike gained ~100g by moving from SRAM Red 10spd to eTap (shifters, both ders, both batts less Aican brake cables and Yokozuna shift cables). I found eTap's published weights to be on-target.
