Cannondale Supersix Evo 2016 (not hi-mod). The FSA BB30 removal tool doesn't fit. Looks like there's some sort of ridge stopping it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to remove it? Different tool required?

Does the internal sleeve just slide out afterwards?

Is it PF30 and not BB30?
In that case its probably the plastic housing stopping it.

It might be although it says BB30 on the frame and also on the green part of the bearing. If it is PF30 and there are plastic cups and a sleeve do I just knock it out?

The Evo is a Press Fit 30 BB. There are a number of youtube videos describing the removal process for PF bottom brackets. Here are some installation (and removal at the very end) instructions from Cannondale.

Sometimes just the bearings come out and sometimes the cups also. I have kept the cups in and just replaced the bearings. The last one I put in both the cups and bearings. If the cups are stuck in the frame I just use a flat screwdriver and evenly tap them out of the frame.

Those cups look like they completely cover the back side of the bearings so the entire unit will come out bearing and all. That tool will work, just gotta knock the entire bearing/cup out and replace.

The cups I have used leaves the backside of the bearing exposed allowing you to just replace the bearing itself. The tool only contacts the bearing itself.

Also not sure whats up with that tool. Cut the nub off the end of it? Below is what I use.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

In the end I just used a flathead screwdriver and a hammer to tap it out which was easy enough.

Despite the frame saying BB30 the bottom bracket is 46mm in diameter so it's actually a PF30.
