I don't know where are you located but my LBS in Southern California already received and sold several set of 9100-P since November. It doesn't sound like Shimano USA is having trouble meeting the demand.

I am in Canada. I know that a first batch of the 9100-P has been sold but now it is again „on back order“ from Shimano.

Here are charts comparing interval powers from my Shimano R9100-P to my Tacx Neo trainer.

4m of intervals at 200 to 220w.

The first chart is unsmoothed, the second has 3s smoothing.

The typical difference between each pair of powers is 4 to 5w (i.e. 2 to 2.5%).

I think you should just ditch the pc8 if you’re not pairing to an SrM.
I am trying a Wahoo Elemnt. So far so good, it solves the problems.

My R9100-P arrived at the dealer and is being installed on my bike. Gotta say, it's a beautiful crank -- better looking in person than it is in photos.

i have problem with E tube application.
When i connect 9100P when i touch screen to tape the key, the app crashes ....

Have you ever have this problem ?

Because the firmware of my crankset is 0.1 and value of offset are same 15000 and 25000, so no calibration during ride....

Thanks for help, sorry for my poor english....
Hello! I had the same problem, and i solved it browsing the 9100P in the bluetooth ítems of the smartphone and pearing it another time. Then everything was perfect and no more have the result of 15000 and 25000.

My guess is that Ray has been testing pre-production units for Shimano, and that now he finally went out and 'purchased' a production unit for final testing. I suspect Ray is working as a product consultant for a lot of companies. So he probably has been riding a R9100-P for months now...

Interesting. I've asked several times over the last few months; because he indicated he'd have a test unit - but they hadn't sent one. And then he advised that to someone else. And I followed up; where he indicating they still hadn't.

Contact with Shimano myself verified as much.

I was going to get it as PM for my new BMC but wanted to wait for the review before swapping over. So been following intently. I don't think he was lying...

Shimano Powermeter has a few weakness point.
1. Have to attach magnet.
2. Low accuracy.
3. First generation model must have a flaws.

I think quarq is best choice to common riders.

I received mine yesterday that I pre-ordered on June 22 from bikebling.com. It'll be a few days before I find the time to install it. I need to swap out the BB too.
