I turned 40 this year so thought I'd treat myself to building a bike as my present! Later in the year I'll be doing the Alpe d'Huez long distance triathlon and intend to use the bike for this race. Here are some early pictures of the build and so far I've decided on eeBrakes, Sram eTap, Mcfk seatpost and 3T Team Stealth handlebars. I've gone for these bars as they are one of the few carbon bars that will take clip-on aero bars.

The wheels and stem in the picture are not likely to make the final cut!

Any advise welcome.

Thank you :beerchug:

Rotate the bars down a little. ;) Bar end should be perpendicular to the ground.

Parallel, I would think. But it really doesn't have to be. :?:

More pics to follow as she's coming along nicely! But any advice on race wheels?

I'm thinking maybe a set of AX-Lightness 38T, or the lighter 25T? or a mix of the two?

Any other suggestions?
