I had forgotten about this thread. I ended up going with the BMC Teammachine Disc. It ticked all the boxes for weight, comfort, and of course aesthetics. :) Going to build it up so I've only got the frame (for now).

Is it made in Taiwan by Giant? or BMC has it's own factory?

BMC has its own factory in Switzerland but AFAIK only for R&D purposes now and they have a third party manufacturer for their frames (which is not Giant).

I recently picked up the Allied Alfa Allroad and can't say enough good things about it.
Built it with CX1 as I had intended for it to be a gravel bike but it feels like I am going to ride it 100% of the time. Rides real nice. 16.4lbs with 303s, power meter, cages & pedals. May swap it out to eTap 22 and sell all of my other bikes.

That packaging looks exactly like my scott foil disc. Not surprised they are probably from the same factory.

Looks real nice, great colour too!
But... $3900 for just the frameset. And you can't fit proper mudguards :(

I got tired of waiting on the Tarmac Disc to come out and bought a Canyon Aeroad Disc with Ultegra Di2. Seems to ride wonderfully so far, only been on a few short, cold rides. Love the Di2, love the stopping power.

Both awesome bikes, however, the CAAD definitely felt quicker (had much better wheels though).
Felt quicker how, more responsive, or faster in a straight line?
