Hi Guys,

I am trying to fit the Di2 junction box in my Syncros Aero bars from Scott. Although it can be forced in, the only way to get it out is by taking off the handlebars and poking it out from the rear (less than ideal). The build documents states they can be zip tied in place, however the tolerances in terms of fit are next to nothing so I don't see how they manage to get it in with a zip tie. Does anyone have a solution (other than have it sit externally on the bars)

Thanks a lot!

Wrap a bit of electrical tape around it leaving an air gap of 1cm or so. Then pinch this excess together to make a tab. This tab should be pointing downwards. Reinstall as usual.

Next time you need to remove it you have a tab to pull on to get it out.

Are you using the 3-port or 5-port?

I made the mistake of trying to fit the 5-port junction in there. It's too big.

I had no issues with a 3-port and zip-tying it to the hole cover on the bars.

Pokerface07, I'm using the 3 port version. Yes, mine seems to be a super tight for some reason. Odd. Maybe the bar end solution is better.

Make sure no tube cables are clogging up the insides and getting in the way.

And the bar end solution doesn't work on those bars. Can't thread cables through the bends in the bars. (Well, couldn't on mine anyway!)

Advice:
Run the B Junction in the bars. Run either a 5-port A under the BB, or a second B Junction connected to a 3-port A.

It works.
