That was the plan but the bike shop didn't have one in the correct diameter and i'm leaving this afternoon. Oh well, i'll just try enjoy the weekend as best I can.

Not that this helps you get back on the road but I'd reckon the bolt was either loose or over-torqued and that caused it to snap on the bump down. More likely over-torqued given your account of the chain of events from​ build to TDU to breaking.

The damage to the lugs would probably be a consequence of the bolt breaking if over-torqued or vice versa if loose.
